Gym Bangarang has an on-site restaurant to prepare all meals fresh. We don’t promote starvation, liquid or fad diets as we find they are not sustainable once you go home.  If you are on our weightloss plan, you are losing water weight not fat on such diets. Beware of retreats that promote unrealistic weight loss claims – this is unhealthy!

For guests on our Fitness Bootcamp and Muay Thai Deluxe we provide a low-carbohydrate/high protein meal plan We follow a similar food plan to the ‘wild diet’ as seen on ABC Show “My Diet Is Better Than Yours”.
We serve a balanced diet rich in vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants. Packed with quality lean proteins, complex carbohydrates and moderate amounts of good fats. Only fresh local ingredients are used and additives/processed foods are avoided. Guests often comment how their energy levels increase once they start eating a balanced diet.

If joining our meal program, please notify us if weightloss is not your goal and we will adjust.

If this is your first time to Thailand, remember to stay hydrated. You do adjust quickly but make sure you are drinking at least 2-3 litres of water a day as soon as you arrive.

Our nutrition menu is made up of the following foods:

  • 3  Tasty and Nutritious meals per day
  • Salmon
  • White fish
  • Fresh Meats
  • Fresh Poultry
  • Fresh Vegetables & Salad (organic from the Mae Rim area)
  • Eggs
  • Herbs and Spices
  • Traditional Cooking Oils
  • Thai Green Tea, Herbal Tea, Fresh Coffee, Instant Coffee all available
  • Bottled Water is supplied in each room daily and served with all meals


What’s not included:

  • Processed Foods
  • No Sugar Added During the Cooking Process
  • Processed Vegetable Oils, Seed Oils or Margarines
  • Fruit Juices or Squash
  • Artificial Sweeteners

However, If weight loss isn’t your primary goal or focus, potatoes & white rice are available upon agreement with your evening meal.
