Do I have time to relax?
The great thing about doing a fitness holiday abroad is being in a beautiful place between sessions! There is plenty of time during the day to chill out and relax – you can’t train all day! It is essential to recover. There are in-room massages available as well as time just to go for a walk or do your own thing. The more intense workouts are usually in the early morning or the evening when it is cool.

Is it ok to come alone?
Chiang Mai is relatively safe. Staying at the gym is very social and It’s easy to make friends. Our fighters often have fights on during the week and we travel together to support.
I smoke and drink alcohol and caffeinated drinks?
Our Chiang Mai location is isolated from the temptations of smoking and drinking. Obviously it is your choice as to whether you wish to smoke and drink but the course is a perfect opportunity to cut down/give up and detoxify. It will be hard for you to obtain cigarettes and you will not be surrounded by people smoking. We do, however, provide coffee and tea, wine and beer at our restaurant, but these are not ‘on display’ (there is an extra charge if you want unlimited amounts!).
What is a typical day like?
Our boot camp activities vary each day. We always start off the day with light cardio like a bike ride or walk through the rice fields and finish the day with a relaxing massage. During the day we do activities like TRX, kettlebells, pilates, circuit training, cardio, tennis, muay thai, and rock climbing. We also utilize the football/sports field and running track at the resort. As an example, we could cycle to the waterfall and tiger camp, visit the Doi Suthep Temple and then cool off in the swimming pool.
No problem! Go at your pace. We introduce more fun and varied forms of running like intervals, sprints and agility work. However if it really isn’t your thing we have plenty of other options: fast walks, boxing, kettle bells etc.
During the hotter part of the day, we tend to use this time to train in shaded areas. There’s always plenty of water around to stay hydrated as well. The cooler timeframes in Chiang Mai are between October and February, so if you are very sensitive to heat, contemplate reserving a time during these months.
